Peter Broderick is playing an in-store show at Polyester Records this Saturday, 3pm, and I asked him if he could play this song, it’s written from the perspective of a chicken produced for meat. I already loved his albums and especially his piano work so it was pretty cool when he wrote this cool song concerning animal rights. Anyway, he said there wouldn’t be a piano there and he’d just be playing guitar, so I offered to bring my digital piano in and he said great then he’ll play the song. On my piano! So I’m going there early now, like 2:30, can everyone come and get there early too please thanks.

Housemate searching again!

Have a room available in our house in Victoria St. Flemington. Close to trams 57 & 59, Newmarket train station, Racecourse Rd shops. Room is medium sized and comes with a cupboard - I think. Rent is $565pcm + bills including $20pcm internet. Bond is one months rent. Decent front and back yards with shed and vegie patch. The only thing I really care about is that you pay rent on time… bonus points for being vegan and being cool. 
Available from June 2nd/3rd, we’d like to fill it asap of course.

Signed up for Duolingo in November and completely forgot about it till I finally got the beta invite today (apparently there is 300,000 people on the waiting list). Basically you learn a language (atm there is only Spanish or German) for free while simultaneously translating digital books into different languages! Here’s my progress learning Spanish so far including my first sentence written with the words and grammar I learned in the first lesson. :)
